The big 2-1!

It wasn't all that big honestly but I woke up to this...

My friends are super sneaky! haha

I had finals all week so it was pretty hard to enjoy my birthday I couldn't stop thinking about finals and final grades. I didn't get crazy like everyone thought I was because of being of legal drinking age, just went out to the sushi bar and had amazing salmon sashimi and some padthai, a margarita, 3 patron shots and a passion fruit martini... I was good to go! Turning 21 is bitter sweet I really don't know how to feel about it... it's like my time is running on low, ballerinas don't dance forever especially if they are injured.

Birthday week for the Recinos Family

 Today starts the ongoing Happy Birthday celebrations in my house. My nephew turns 9 today in four days my mom will be 46, and in 6 I will turn 21, two days after that it's my grandmas birthday... get the whole monthly celebration thing now?

Although I am extremely overwhelmed with finals I always pause whatever I'm doing to see my little man. When I got home I had him run to me and ask "so can you bake me a cake" I couldn't say no. We baked a three layer cake, Butter recipe yellow, strawberry, and his favorite chocolate. I like always had my camera in hand and took pictures of the kitchen madness.
